Glossopdale Foodbank is a local charity who provide emergency food for individuals and families in financial crisis.
Working with the Foodbank’s co-ordinator Charlotte I created a new logo and brand identity for the charity. The logo which is based around a shopping basket contains a hidden G and the bottom half of it becomes an upwards arrow to signify hope and positivity. I paired the new logo with a simple bright colour palette and the friendly Harmonia Sans typeface.
With the charity working to a tight budget we went for an illustrative approach for the website rather than using potentially expensive stock photography. I created a bank of simple but charming illustrations based around a family and also some supporting icons. The Foodbank team can use these illustrations across the website, their social media channels and on their printed promotional material.
